Je Suis La Piste is a play on word, meaning both « I follow the trail » and « I am the trail »… hence focussing on empathy : « Following this trail makes me become the animal that left it ».

We run workshops for events (Découvertes), for kids (Sauvageons), for families (Initiations) and for adults (Pistages avancés). As well as longer courses (Immersions & Animal Intus).
You can see all our offers with details (dates & prices) on our HelloAsso website, from where you can also book.
Please, just let us know on the way that you’ll need English translations 😉

Our team of Trackers works hand-in-hand with Sheep breeders to make the « return of the Wolf » in Périgord as smooth as it can get, or to find their missing stock (or investigate on suspicious killings). We also help landowners get to know their « wild neighbours » better, in order to improve Man/Wildlife relations (generally or specifically with building or lifestyle projects). Finally, we work on a European Minks’ reintroduction program and Beaver-based restoration projects.

Our group won the Trophées du Développement Durable Dordogne 2024 (public votes) and is part of the wider SOS Trackers open-source network, introduced during the International Tracking Symposium 2024.

Visual Tracking is a very old know-how. All First Nations still use this skill, as well as did our own Prehistoric ancestors. We build bridges by helping and hosting some First Nations’ People come around each year, for cultural exchanges. This specific, unique and long-term project is called « Origines de la Piste«  (=Origins of the Trail).

You can check all of our creations in the dedicated page in French > there.

And here is the list of those that have been translated in English :

Trackie Talkie – Stealthy & intuitive communication system for groups of Trackers.
Upon a Track – Using Trackers’ real-life surveys worldwide, follow the tracks of wild animals and try to ID them before their Stories unravel.
